Miri food race

Bruneians go to Miri to shop. We are the kind of people who puts B$1 = RM 2.42 to good use.

I go to Miri to eat. Why? Beacause a $4.90 slice of Secret Recipe cake in town goes for only RM6.90 in Miri. Why would anyone in the right mind not take advantage of that!

Just to give you an idea how all the shops around Miri looks like, well, nearly all!

One person’s art another person’s fashion siucide.

A view of the interiors of the Cook & Chilli cafe in Parkson.

Chicken chop in mushroom sauce.

My roasted chicken burger was great. The patty was firm and held alot of flavour. I love how it tasted.

My sisters sugar for her tea came in a really cute shot glass. This is just me trying to tell my dad that I want a d90.

My dad was eager to leave Parkson as soon as we finished eating. We had to plan on a food race so that we wouldn’t miss out on anything, well anything that involves food of course.
We ran to Big Apple donnuts right after ordering our food in Cook & Chilli to get us 6 donnuts each
.

This is where the magic happens. 🙂

Heavy on the ‘alien’.

And of course I had to try a freeze from Starbucks.

How was it? It was good but I’ve tatsed better. End!

When you are in Miri it’s wise to go heavy on the pork and alcohol.
Wantan noodles with pork balls. I requested for the pork balls although I had an emergency situation going on in my intestine. The noodles was tasteless. I ended up digging into my dad’s pig organ soup instead.

Note: Having an Indian breakfast before going to Miri is not a good idea.
